| Students work on the interpretation,
acting and delivery of a song. Selection of material for auditions
and performances will be stressed, along with basic vocal techniques.
Students enhance their state presence and increase their comfort
level in front of an audience. |
| The young performer is introduced
to "the basics" of acting for the stage including warm-up techniques
for both voice and body, improvisation, theatre games, stage
direction, and solo and group scene work. |
| Acting for Television Commercials |
| Have fun learning how to audition
for TV commercials! You will be videotaped as you learn a fool
proof technique for reading "commercial copy". Use real commercials
or write your own! Also learn how to "slate", what to wear,
and how to get yourself an audition with a NY Casting Director. |
All Classes run for 8 weeks
and will culminate in a
public performance for family and friends |
